Practice Setting
- Inpatient cardiothoracic surgery unit

Solo overnight coverage
- Surgeon available on call
- No clinic or OR duties
- Support from a daytime team of physicians
Schedule
-
12-hour night shifts (7p-7a)
- 7 shifts every 2 weeks preferred
- Rotating 3/4 weekly schedule
- Full-time, ongoing assignment until perm hire
Procedures and Cases
- No procedures required
- Discharge planning focus and prepping patient paperwork
- Night coverage for patient stayovers
Requirements
- Physician Assistant license in NC
- ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
- 2 years of experience required

- Travel and lodging accommodations are available
