NP/PA Nephrology Opportunity in Greenville, NC

ECU Health Physicians and the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Nephrology and Hypertension, at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their growing practice located in Greenville, North Carolina. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

The Division of Nephrology and Hypertension serves the needs of the 1.4 million people in a 29-county region of eastern North Carolina and is an academic practice that provides many clinical services including management of acute and chronic renal failure, renal transplantation, and hypertension. The division has extensive experience in hemodialysis, all forms of peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, plasmapheresis, renal biopsy, immunosuppression management and clinical trials. The division also maintains oversight of several community dialysis centers.

· Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities

· Established practice inclusive of 7 physicians, 3 advanced practice providers

· Monday – Friday schedule

· No call

· Primary clinic responsibilities will include direct care for patients with chronic kidney disease, seeing patients in an outpatient dialysis setting as well as providing patient education

· Opportunities are available to assist with clinical research

· Applicants will be required to have BLS certification from The American Heart Association
