2024 NC-NACNS Annual Conference

Please join us for 1.5 days of in-person learning and networking with a variety of topics designed for Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS), other advanced practice providers, and interested clinicians. This is a great opportunity to collaborate and participate in several exciting professional development sessions.

The first day of the conference will offer pharmacotherapeutic nursing contact hours, with a focus on opioid use disorder, oral antineoplastics, steroid use for community-acquired pneumonia, and the newest literature on DVT prophylaxis for orthopedic surgery.

On the second day, regional speakers and leading CNSs across the state will highlight several intriguing and innovative topics with ample time for face-to-face networking. These topics include growing your own CNS team, legislative updates, how the CNS can impact the organization, clinical inquiry, and some population-specific topics such as pediatrics, oncology, and more.

A separate evening out at the NC State Fair will be organized by NC NACNS for October 17th.

When using GPS, enter 2800 Blue Ridge Rd as your destination. [Some map systems may suggest a Lake Boone Trail address, which is not the physical location of the Heart & Vascular Center.]

Please park on the top level of the Heart & Vascular Parking Deck, leaving lower levels for patients and families.

The main entrance to the Heart & Vascular Center is on Level 2. Take the elevators down to Level 1 to reach the conference space.
